Lots of close quarter handling, mooring in a range of marinas and smaller picturesque ports offering more interesting ways to tie up for the night. With all these places to visit on your course, you get plenty of experience planning and completing passages, with one being a night sail, often a favourite and enjoy your visits ashore to the local attractions. You will end up with your ICC (International Certificate of Competence – allowing you to charter in the Med.

What’s Included: All food except the evening of joining, wet weather gear and accommodation on board. Mooring fees are an extra and we suggest that you budget approximately £15 per weekend and £20 for 3 and 5 day courses.
The theory lessons and some powerboat courses can be completed at our inland RYA centre at Queen Mary reservoir (Just west of London – close to Staines) based upon our large 500 acre Queen Mary Reservoir, and the practical courses either from the river Hamble at our yacht charter base at Mercury Yacht Harbour or Brighton Marina (delivered by our yacht school partners).
